Project Expansion Case Study Example: NUUN

Goal
Here's an example of work that was completed in this Project Expansion Course.
Dana Turner had written a series of headlines for NUUN Water in a Portfolio MasterClass Copywriting Campaigns course. She wanted to turn her headlines into print ad comps for her portfolio.
Team Up
Dana teamed up with Designer JoJo Wang to develop the campaign work. Guidance was provided by Dr. Gina Greco.
Process
Dana provided the headlines, tagline, insight, initial creative direction (mood boards), campaign strategy, and NUUN assets (logo and product shot). This work came from Copywriting Campaigns, a course taught by Creative Director Eric Mayse.
Milanote, a drag and drop interface, was used to organize all assets.
Dr. Greco provided the initial production schedule and defined the project goals and outcomes.
Insight

Production
The team met and discussed project goals, set a schedule and determined a timeframe. Over the course of 4 weeks, a campaign was produced, beginning with rough layouts through final comps. Weekly Zoom meetings allowed for review and refinement of work. All meetings were held online.
Dana wrote additional body copy for the ads.
JoJo provided the visual direction, sketches, image search, Photoshop work/water effect, palette, type treatment, product refinement, semi-comps, and comprehensive design. She also delivered the final assets as portfolio-ready .jpg and .psd files.
Final Work
Dana is now working as a Healthcare Copywriter in NYC.
